For Couples

Find a therapist, and explore evidence-based paths to a stronger, more connected relationship.

Two Proven Options for Help

Work with a Licensed IBCT Therapist

  • In person or via tele-health
  • Weekly 50-minute sessions
  • Number of sessions varies. Most seriously distressed couples benefit from around 25 sessions. Many couples need fewer.
  • Therapist guides you through acceptance and change strategies customized to your needs

Want a deeper, personalized process? Consider working with an IBCT therapist.

Try the OurRelationship Program (Online)

  • Flexible and affordable

Prefer convenience and structure at your own pace? Try OurRelationship first—you can always seek therapy later if needed.

Shared Foundations

Whether you choose IBCT with a therapist or the OurRelationship program, both approaches offer:

  • A focus on core relationship issues
  • Analysis using the DEEP framework:

Differences
Emotions
External stressors
Patterns of communication

  • A balance of emotional acceptance and behavioral change
  • Strong scientific evidence showing improvement in relationship and personal well-being

What to Expect from IBCT

  • Feedback Session: Your therapist presents an analysis and treatment plan. Together, you decide whether to proceed.
  • Active Treatment: With your therapist’s guidance, you’ll improve communication, build emotional acceptance, and resolve conflict.
  • Termination: You’ll review your progress and, when ready, conclude treatment with tools to continue growing together.
